A brand new book on the British gun maker Westley Richards entitled "In Pursuit of the Best Gun, 1812-2012" will be released in January 2012. Written by Jeremy Musson and lavishly illustrated with over 200 Terry Allen photographs, the second ever book on the famous Birmingham maker covers their 200 year history and is in large format with over 300 pages!

A Terry Allen image was chosen as the cover shot on the R.E.M. album "And I Feel Fine". It was the first time the band has ever used a photo of themselves as the front cover of the album! Stewart Copeland of the Police remarked that the photo had been computer enhanced because "REM NEVER jumped around and moved like that". But it's not true, the photo is straight off the roll of Tri-X film as it was shot in 1980!
